Welcome to Decaffeinated, a casual 3D barista simulation and time-management game inspired by Kopi Saigon! (yes THE Kopi Saigon)

Step behind the counter and experience the excitement of running a busy cafe! Take customer orders, prepare beverages  and serve your customers before their patience runs out.

But don't let the relaxing café atmosphere fool you. As more customers arrive and orders become increasingly complicated, your speed, accuracy, and multitasking skills will be put to the test.

How long can you keep the café running?

Gameplay Features:

• Become a Barista — Take customer orders and prepare beverages using interactive café equipment.
• Craft Your Drinks — Choose cup sizes, pour coffee bases and syrups, operate mixers, and add toppings through interactive minigames.
• Master the Art of Coffee Making — Earn performance scores based on your drink preparation, mixing, and topping accuracy.
• Survive the Rush — Experience progressively challenging gameplay as customers arrive faster and become less patient.
• Meet Unique Customers — Interact with different characters featuring their own animations, voices, and reactions to your service.
• Beat Your High Score — Serve as many customers as possible, climb the local leaderboard, and survive with fewer than three strikes!

More than just a Coffee Game!

Decaffeinated combines entertainment with interactive brand engagement. Inspired by Kopi Saigon's cafe identity, the game introduces players to beverage ingredients, preparation methods and the experience of running a café.

Through gameplay, players can discover the world of coffee in a fun and engaging way.

About this project

Decaffeinated is a project made by us Coconutters, 3 students from  Politeknik Metro Kuala Lumpur (PMKL) Malaysia, as a Final Year Project (FYP) under the Department of Information Technology and Communication.

The game was developed with Kopi Saigon as our project client, exploring how interactive gaming can provide an alternative approach to digital marketing, customer engagement, and brand awareness.

Our goal is to combine the enjoyment of casual gaming with the unique identity of Kopi Saigon, creating an interactive experience that goes beyond traditional advertisements.
